Be sure identified the triggers that cause you to engage in poor eating habits. Whether it's stress, depression, eating when not hungry etc. Identify those you’d like to work on improving first. You can do this by making a list. This will help you reflect on specific eating habits, both bad and good.
Replace your old habits with good choices. Choice natural sugars, like fruits. Cut back on drinks with artificial sugars like soda and juice. Stop eating fast foods that contain unhealthy fats, carbs and grease. If you can't leave fries and hamburgers alone, try sweet potatoes fries and soybean or turkey burgers.
Plan meals for the week. Decide on healthy recipes and plan ahead of time. This will reinforce and assure you that you will eat a healthy well-balanced meal.
